| zaum: the magazine |
zaum is an art/literary magazine providing college
students a venue for publishing their work. The
magazine is distributed and produced by students at
Sonoma State University in California. Composed of
poetry, prose, fiction and visual art, zaum strives to
challenge conventionality and achieve an expression
beyond rationality. zaum has been published at Sonoma State for 30 years and has received many awards for its visual and literary content. We are currently accepting submissions for our next edition. If you would like to submit please review our submission guidelines |
| zaum: the word | zaum is a term from the Russian Futurists dating back to the early 20th century. Literally it means transrational language, that which exists beyond what can be perceived empirically. |
